Grilling

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat, around 400°F (204°C). Brush each frozen steak with olive oil and season with ½ teaspoon of salt, ¼ teaspoon of pepper, and ¼ teaspoon of garlic powder. Sear the steaks for 2 minutes per side to develop a crust, then lower the heat to medium, about 325°F (163°C), and continue grilling for 5–6 minutes per side. Use a meat thermometer to check doneness: 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare, 140°F (60°C) for medium, and 160°F (71°C) for well done. Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Oven

Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C). Heat an oven-safe pan over medium-high heat and add a bit of oil. Brush each frozen steak with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Sear the steaks for 2 minutes per side in the pan, then transfer the pan to the oven. Cook for 6–8 minutes per side, depending on desired doneness. Use a meat thermometer: 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare, 140°F (60°C) for medium, and 160°F (71°C) for well done. Rest the steaks for 5 minutes before serving.

Pan Sear

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat to about 400°F (204°C). Lightly oil each frozen steak and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Sear the steaks for 2 minutes per side to build a crust, then reduce the heat to medium (325°F / 163°C) and cook for another 5–6 minutes per side. Check internal temperature for doneness: 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare, 140°F (60°C) for medium, and 160°F (71°C) for well done. Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before serving.
